1. When & where are the BBC tryouts?
Tryouts are organized by your son’s playing age for the 2011-2012 Season. All tryouts are schedule for August 13th, 2011 at Wilburton Park in Bellevue, WA. We encourage players to arrive 15 minutes early in order to check-in and get loose. Specific tryout times, by age-group, are listed below:
- U13: 8:00am – 10:30am
- U14: 11:30am – 1:30pm
- U15 & U16: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
2. What will my son need to bring to tryouts to be prepared?
- Baseball attire: baseball pants, hat, and cleats
- Baseball gear: glove, bat, and catching gear if available
- Good attitude: excitement to play hard & learn is worth more than natural ability
3. When will we know if our son made a BBC team?
Immediately following each age-group tryout, the evaluators and coaches meet to compile notes and quantify results. We strive to let all players know SAME DAY the results of their tryout: Yes / No / Wait List.
4. How much does it cost to play for a Bellevue Baseball Club team?
The cost to play for BBC is $1,750/year. This INCLUDES league fees and tournament fees.
